About the Event

The first edition of the Bioprocesses and Biomolecules Meeting, held in 2024, was marked by the strengthening of interaction between bioprocess research institutions. With the participation of about 60 people, the event promoted knowledge exchange, strategic connections, and boosted discussions on the development of bio-inputs, processes, and innovative biomolecules.

The second edition, renamed Bioprocess Summit 2025, featured a more comprehensive program, including lectures, round tables, presentations of innovative projects, and a space dedicated to the interaction between academia, startups, established companies, funding institutions, and venture capital investors, bringing together 244 participants.

The third edition of the Bioprocess Summit, which will take place on June 2nd and 3rd, 2026, will have the central theme “Innovation and Sustainability in Bioprocesses for the New Green Economy”.

In this edition of the Bioprocess Summit 2026, the event will expand its reach and format, including: thematic panels with national and international experts on biotechnology, bioeconomy, and industrial sustainability; technical short courses aimed at training professionals and students; connection rounds between academia, startups, and companies, favoring partnerships and technology co-development; presentation of scientific papers; success cases, spin-offs, and science-based startups focused on green innovation.
