Frequently Asked Questions

Bioprocess Summit 2026 will take place on June 2nd and 3rd, 2026, in a hybrid format. The in-person modality will be held at the Bento Prado Amphitheater, in São Carlos – SP.

Participants registered for the online modality will receive the streaming link by email one day before the event. In case of any access difficulties, the link will also be available on the event website and social media.

Registrations must be made exclusively through the Even3 platform, accessible via the "Register" button. There will be two registration waves, in the student and professional categories.

At the time of registration, the participant must choose:

  • - Participation modality: in-person or online

  • - The activity they wish to perform on the afternoon of the second day: technical visit or participation in a short course.

If you wish to change your registration from online to in-person, you must contact the event organization directly. Changes are subject to availability for the in-person modality, so we recommend making the request in advance.

Yes. Each participant can submit up to 2 simple abstracts through the Even3 platform.

The mandatory templates for submission will be available on the platform itself.

Approved papers will be published in the event's journal proceedings, and the best abstracts will be selected for poster presentation during Bioprocess Summit 2026.

Yes. Certificates will be issued for:

- Event participants

- Paper presenters

- Authors of approved abstracts

On the afternoon of the second day of the event, participants may choose ONLY ONE ACTIVITY, between participating in a technical visit or one of the offered short courses.

The technical visit will be held at Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste and has a maximum capacity of 60 participants. Slots will be filled in order of registration, and once the limit is reached, it will no longer be possible to select this option.

There will also be 3 short course options:

- One short course is already included in the registration, will be held at the Bento Prado Amphitheater (UFSCar), and will also be streamed for online participants.

- The other two short courses will be held at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UFSCar (DEQ-UFSCar) and have a maximum capacity of 20 participants each, with slots filled in order of registration.

According to Art. 49 of the Consumer Defense Code (Law 8.078/09), a refund is guaranteed by law when requested within 7 calendar days after registration. For participants who purchase the Refund Guarantee, we inform you that the request and analysis process is conducted directly by the Even3 platform.

Important: The request can only be made after the event, and the deadline for submission is up to 10 days after the end. The guarantee covers cases that fall within the occurrences provided by the platform, upon proof.

- Pregnancy complications
- Death
